shoulder still sore...

Hi All,
Would it be ok to stop doing chest and shoulders for a week or two? Shoulder still feels very sore!! it feels like i may have torn something. If i do stop, how do i keep the muscle gains?
 
1. Dont do anything that hurts it.
2. Go to the doc and do what he says.
3. Hahahha, yep! You will lose musce if you dont use it. Thats part of bodybuilding man. Its not going to go great all the time.

RICE brother, RICE. The E in this case is already taken care of, b/c the shoulder is above the heart, but you need to take care of the RIC part.

See a doc if you've rested and iced for a week or two and it's still hurting.
 
lay off the weights for a bit, strength will come back quickly if you lay off long enough for it to decline. i think i read it usually takes 4 weeks for muscle to weaken w/o work. could be wrong
 
In my opinion, in a minor injury it's good to keep the injured area moving. Just be careful and don't hurt yourself.
