snatch grip deadlift vs regular

The name says it all, which one is better. I can't see snatch being much more effective since your on a platform, your hands are spread apart more, and you need to use less weight.
 
So regular deadlifts is better.

Some guy i was talking to swore but snatch deadlifts, i was like whats the point do regualr deadlifts. I love deadlifts
 
grab the bar near the collars so you have an ultra wide grip. it lengthens the range of motion. its for working bottom end power. similar to standing on blocks.
