local cops aren't going to spend several thousand dollars to reconstruct a wiped drive over a case of personal use steroids. The only reason a cop even dropped by in the first place was in the event that the guy who's address was on the box happened to be a dumbass and admit to ordering schedule III drugs without a prescription. Unless you had a major shipment that got seized (which it doesn't sound like by the $400 comment), then you don't really have anything to worry about. Keep in mind that the war on drugs is a money game, and there's very little money in the consumer end.

Yes and no, I dissagre with they statement they wont reconstruct. The ability is there and used. It isnt a reconstruct, it simply a software program that, in simplistic terms, restore the drive for evidence. It doesnt take thousands of dollars. Software for agencies to perform this forensics was part of a grant and is very simplistic. You are correct, it is a money game, but this is a no brainer if they get the drive and they will go forward.

isn't the hard drive the computer itself? i mean fuck, i've got so much going on in my life now as it is, found out the love of my life has been cheating, been real down, and now this shit. the story with the neibors is legit. i know the neighbors and i saw the cop outside in their yard with a flashlight looking around. after he left i went and talked to the neigbors and they told me what happened. that was the truth, and it was from a domestic source. i can get a new computer, only 200 for a new tower, not to big of a deal, but it sucks i can't come on the boards anymore. the last thing i want to do is sit here and be paranoid for the next year. wtf is up with life sometimes, so beuatiful yet so painful. fuck.

spend $150 and get a close circuit 4 camera set and recorder if you are having stuff dropped on you porch. They have them set with motion detectors so they don't record until the sensor detects movement.

It is safer to encrypt, i agree. Unfortunatly there are master keys and are used all the time in cases. Encryption is pretty much useless with Law Enforcement. Destroy the drive.

thanks for all replies guys. problem with p.o. boxes is still gotta use real name. gotta sleep now, if i can sleep. guess i'll just buy a new computer and will have to stay away from the boards which sucks cuz i love to hang out here. the shittiest thing of all is that i have always been so careful, had dozens of packs delivered with no issues, and now, because of some dickhead and something i had nothing to do with my future with gear is now all fucked up. people suck sometimes. i agree about the gamble part, and had i been an idiot and caused this, i'd take the fall. but it was some random dick that had to fuck with my shit. the cop asked me if i take any prescription drugs and if i ordered any scripts over the net. i think he thought i would just say yes. i played it real cool but again looking the way i do doesn't help nor does having prior felonies. but maybe a new computer and a clean house will erase this problem. either way, things have changed, and with where i'm at in my life right now, that is the last thing i needed. thanks again and God bless.

It does not matter if they go through your computer!!! They have to find the shit on u or in your house to do anything to you! If they did get your computer all they could do is ask you questions. Which by the way u do not have to answer! The cop in my opinion either kept the shit or threw it in the trash. To inventory found property or send it to a lab they have to do alot of paper work. A cop is not going to do that unless he has an arrest to go with it Esp. a uniformed officer. Trust me I have knowledge in this field. I cannot say anymore about that though.

i am knowledgable in this field also and are you saying that if they find a pack at a neighbors house, with his name on it, then check his PC and find the order specs, descriptions and quantaties with the shipment and probably a tracking number, they dont have enough to make your life hell. hmmm I would disagree with you there.

a lot of people would agree with me on this, im sure. there's curtain times in a guys/females life that roids need to be avoided. when shit isnt right and everything all f'd up emotionally roids can really fuck with your emotions/head big time. i found in own personal life and experience with Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) i have to be in a positive mind set, money has to be right no relationship issues, etc. if not i become a big asshole. i have a short temper with my daughter traffic bothers me and i say shit that i don’t really mean bc im just irritated with life and roids just amplify all those feelings of mental instability, for me anyway. Couldnt agree more, well said. I did my cycle right before my wedding, which is in a 2 weeks. Now on PCT, bad timing. I will be smarter next time. I almost didnt make it to the alter. You know how stressful this shit can be all on its own, add gear into and it becomes a nightmare.
