Something interesting DHT /Test

I am banned!
So...as we age apparently our DHT levels rise? Some dudes lose their hair along the way but is this a sign that we can get more stronger cause that DHT and the AR enzyme MAY be higher than previous years? Also I think its holding on to the muscle that decreases. As the test goes down and in most cases the estrogen goes up. Genetic dependent though. Just interesting. Not sure about the peptides like GH and IGF change but I find it interesting how I thought of this relationship. Also why is testosterone decreasing if dht is going up? I mean doesnt test need to be made then ar enzymes for the ar is secreted (cascade process)?

DHT can suppress the hpta. Another theory is that DHT is going up to compensate for decreasing testosterone and increasing estradiol levels. Interesting stuff. Theres a study that even links varicocele to prostate enlargement and disease. So many mysteries, we dont even know a little bit yet.

The problem with many studies done on aging men is they don't take into account the fact that many men develop poor eating/exercise habits due to chasing the corporate ladder. Another factor that is often left out (sometimes on purpose) is environmental pollution, which has been shown to seriously alter our hormone pathways.

I've seen a similar study which hints as Black Beard mentioned, and it kind of makes sense to me as the body does try to compensate for deficiencies. How it all fits together still eludes us though.

As far as peptides go, IGF has been shown to help, but it has diminishing returns, especially if insulin resistance is high. Keep an eye out for some new studies on a drug that is being tested - they're claiming it can "cure" diabetes (type II), I'm curious to see how that pans out.

My .02c :)

Yeah its def interesting. Another thing we can say of course the human body cells are aging/dying as we get past a certain age. Just got me thinking about DHT and if it really is so great. I recently stumbled on some news that it may be inversely related to how myostatin inhibition works. Also dudes take test to raise the protein synthesis(anabolic) but mtor when out of control = really bad for the body. Idk kind of confusing. I remember taking bio courses and molecular biology but even though like you said we havent an inkling of how complex the body is or works. Doing my best to piece it together or at least my puzzle.

Another thing. I never hear of dudes using DHT derviatives except when one is really lean. They throw those hardening compounds in. Like precontest. Maybe it has something to do with high bodyfat and estrogen? Just pondering. I hope they make new drugs in the future with less sides.

I know from experience that DHT derivatives tend to "shine" best when body fat is lower as the differences in "hardening" aren't really noticeable if one is say at 20% body fat. Then again, all AAS tends to have better results (visibly) at lower body fat ranges with far less side effects.

It will be interesting to see where the PH/DS market goes with the ban; I bet we'll see some creative minds at work.

Oh I bet.

One study even claims declining testosterone is exactly from what half-wit says, overall deteriorating health negatively affecting testosterone. There are 80 year old's with high natural testosterone levels out there. It's probably a combination of oxidative stress from the environment/aging, increased body fat, lack of exercise/nutrition. All this stuff is additive. A zinc/vitamin D defiency with a hypocaloric diet and bad sleep can easily knock total testosterone down by 400+ ng/dl combined. I see some young guys jumping on TRT when their shit lifestyle has them at 300 ng/dl, because they think eating chicken and broccoli means good nutrition. They probably aren't getting enough carbs, zinc, calories, etc.
