if you have a 2 inch gap between the holes just use a 1 inch mat . i just thought of this or we would have done it myself but you could get 2 new hooks for the bar made that hang at different heights than the old ones , once again do it so that they would be half way between where the old hooks would have placed the bar in the 2 holes you are trying to use . if your gym owner is agreeable you could also make a homemade powerrack attachment like we have that hangs from the top of the rack ours is all manual [ no hydraulics ] but it suits us just fine .
