the standard bd 1ml oral syringe that you get from many of the research companies. Do the markings on the syringe take the tip of it into account? I guess my question is if i want 1ml should i draw it to .9 to get 1ml (taking the tip of the syringe into account) or to the 1ml mark to get 1ml? thanks

No it doesn't take that into account. It goes the same for syringes also which is why most don't get a full 10ml when they draw an extact 1ml because it comes out to 1.2ml.

Pull it to .08-.09 and bring in a little air that way it pushes everything out thats in the tip.

Same deal, if injecting 1ml pull it to .08-.09. That will be exactly 1ml, you want to pull in .02 of air so that it pushes all of the oil out where the twist lock area is.

You ever notice how on new syringes the plunger is already pulled back .02?
