Just out of curiousity if someone was concerned about the cleanliness of their gear could they run it through a syringe filter or add some more BA to it?

I guess you could, but if I was concerned about the cleanliness of my gear wouldn't inject it.

Run it rhough a watman, that will make it safe to use. adding BA wont do anyting to make it safe to use. BA is to make sure no "stuff" grows in it.

When I brew gear, I use oil heated to about 212 degrees F, then I run the brew through a .22 micron filter. I generally use 2% BA (Benzyl Alcohol) to preserve sterility.
