Still feeling shitty 7 months post cycle

Okay, so long story short, I screwed up. I ended up (for reasons I won't delve into) having to cut my dbol 40mg e/d test e 500mg e/w short, and I ended up only being on the stuff for 3 weeks total, but apparently this was more than enough to shut me down. I decided not to PCT since the cycle was so short lived, and this was my big mistake. So now I'm 7 months past all that and granted, feeling a ton better than I did a few months ago, but still definitely don't feel normal yet.

If I had to describe how I feel still, it would be apathatic, mild fatigue, and a mild lack of confidence. It's not like it's some major issue but over time is grades on you because it is constant, so I'm getting very impatient waiting for my test to fully recover.

And please guys don't sit here and tell me I don't "know" if I'm recovered yet until I get my bloods. Here's the thing about that, yes, your bloods will tell you a number, but if you still feel like shit (and I feel completely fine prior to my cycle), then what good is it to you? If I went to a doctor right now who was just going to tell me my test is at 600 or so and it's completely normal, but I feel all the low test symptoms, what good is it?

SO, my real question here is does it really take this long to recover my natty test post cycle if I didn't run pct? Did I shut myself down permanently or something terrible to which I should just go look to get TRT? And is there anything at all I can do to speed this up? (i.e. nolva or something?)

Oh and one more thing, I did get a blood sample back around 2.5-3 months after my last pin, my test was around 450, if that helps.

Any empirically or scientifically backed statements, not opinions, would be of great help. Thanks guys.

I had a value of around 400 about 2 months after my last pin and around 200 4 months after.

Have you attempted a restart yet?

Bloods would actually be beneficial if we could see where you're at now then attempt a restart... also help to gauge how effective the treatment is.
A blood test would also show us where the problem lies... brain or testes... it will determine which type of restart is best for you.

You'll need Total T, LH, FSH and e2 (estradiol.)

Welcome.
No worries. U WILL NOT BE BASHED.

If you would could u please provide a few relevant facts.
Age
weight
height
bdyfat yr s training
ever done AAS before.

Now those are our standard "application form for AAS adivice but I think u need more...some understanding of ur emotional state. Ur age will help Ur bloods will too.
Do you have any history of the blues, depression, drug addiction etc.
EZ !!!!

I have had ALL OF THE ABOVE , OK ? People who know me know I ve been threw the shit...both externally and the mind fuck of mental illness...and being shot...2 and addicted to EVFERYTHING.

I WAS a mess...and every Doc I went too was happy to string my ass out on ssri s, benzo s, opiates...fuck me...scarey doses too. Lost 2 years to ssri/benzo/opiatiate/booze weed---haze. If none of this is you then we ve ruled that out.

A 7 month crash is possible if your hpta s still not back to par.
Any other exo meds like the ones that almost killed me ?
It s cool dude.

Milton,

I hurt so many people when I was a US Deputy School Crossing Guard..and then when I was a mentally challeneged druggie..only god, trt and lil T saved my life..not in that order necessarily returned me to sanity and purpose driven life.. DPR, Mega 3j, HW, MS...KNOW what I was, what I did and helped me immensely. Hell a couple of em and I chat telephonically.
Now I HAVE to make amends. I joke..I play and love to make fun...of me mainly...but when I see "me" reaching out...it s the duty of an honorable man who needs the karma.

Only through the indifference of good men to stand by or look away when all someone needs...is time..a talk..is unforgiveable. I try not to hammer anyone except when they make a mockery of this...my ONLY AAS/mood...forum.

I m just glad to be here....

And no I actually have no history of depression, addiction, mental problems etc. luckily, which is why I'm so convinced I'm still just recovering from steroids.

You said it all here, me too, there is an old saying around my neck of the woods that goes, "if you do not listen to the advice of your seniors/older folks then you will not grow old yourself. " by the way, I was just curious as to how you hurt people when your a US Deputy school crossing guard? so if someone does not stop, you yank them out of the car through the window? just kidding :)

"and lil T saved my life".... what is the "T" you are referring too?.... also do you still smoke weed? (read that in an earlier post of yours).

I cannot confirm nor deny nor comment at this time on your last question.

The OP definitely needs bloods taken to figure out what exactly is going on. You don't want to just start TRT because you think you have low testosterone. Every option possible should be explored before going on TRT because TRT is a last resort that you can not come off of after being on it for a decent amount of time. TRT sounds like fun and games until you get on it and all the realities that come along with TRT actually sink in to your brain. TRT is with out a doubt a life saver for people who need it, but even then a lot of those people you hear complaining about having to be on TRT for life it is not exactly convenient. So basically what you need to do is get the blood tests that have been mentioned and asses the situation from there. Another really good point is that to go on TRT you need to get tested for low testosterone anyways so there is no point in avoiding blood work because it is unavoidable.

I would also highly discourage starting your own TRT protocol through UGL testosterone. A lot of people go on TRT without a doctors permission but most of them run into some sort of problem eventually. Think about how much it would suck not to be able to travel where you want to go because you are dependent upon UGL testosterone and can not bring it with you. Also I can only imagine how hard it would be to dial in TRT through UGL testosterone and AI's that might not be the same dosage each time.

hey sorry for the misunderstanding. I DON'T want to be on TRT by any means, the reason I posted this thread was to make sure that I didn't do permanent damage to myself thus leading me to think I might have to get on. Also I'm not really trying to avoid bloodwork, my only point is that if I get bloodwork labeled as "normal" that doesn't mean I'm all well and good. Clearly if I still have the same low T symptoms I'm not where I used to be.

See my post above. Blood work will be necessary to get you back on track. 7 months later you will need some sort of pharmacuetical intervention - if you were going to recover on you're own, you probably would have by now. It's time to attempt a restart. Get bloods done and post them up here and we can guide you.

OP you're not the first case. Some years ago before I knew about PCT or much for that matter, I was on AAS for 8 months. Mostly test and some Deca. I stopped and walked away from the gym and everything. I thought I was through with the blues and the (man) menopause after 3-4 months but it took about 11 months.

Keep in mind I had no where like this forum to go to for help. So you're ahead of the game just by being on the forum here. Good Luck :)

okay thanks, but just to clarify, you DID feel normal again after about 11 months? The reason I ask is because I see posts telling me that unless I don't use some sort of pharmacological means I'll never recover my natty test which is scary and also hard for me to believe. After all, it might take a while, but at some point it should reach my old levels, right?

No, probably not. Even with a proper PCT there is usually some damage done with each cycle.. with PCTR usually it is minimal and not noticable until you get several cycles down. Even then some people don't get much. Others get completely shut down from one cycle with PCT. It's the nature of the game... you roll the dice you take the risks. Best to minimize those risks by using a proper PCT, or in your case a restart...

You may or may not come good on your own, but why take the extra risk?
