Strength/cardio question

When I dont do cardio, I am always stronger the next week. When I do even a little bit of cardio during the week, I am always down a rep or two.

How can I still do cardio, but also get stronger, or at least not get weaker.

Im walking fast for 25-30 minutes 3 times a week. I guess its too much???? Doesnt seem like much.

HELP ME PLEASE!

I guess I either gotta eat more, or I need to do less cardio? I really dont want to eat more, Im already eating alot.

Please help bros. What should I do?

if your trying to lose weight then cardio may be necessary but if your not cutting just do enough to maintain your health .

Thats exactly why I do cardio, because you need it to have a healthy heart and tons of other reasons.

So what do you reccomend for me to do in your opinion? Im only doing brisk walking 3 times a week for 25-30 minutes, and that is enough to make my a bit weaker. Should I walk less fast and see how that works?

thats a loaded question . depending on the job you do you may get plenty of walking in at work . it also depends on your current health and level of fitness but if your relatively young / healthy/ inshape drop to 1 or 2 times a week and see how you do .

I would say that it's up to you...during my last bulking cycle I didn't do any cardio at all.....none what so ever....all I did was walking at work and the like....and it about killed me when I started to do cardio again....then again I was like 30 lbs heavier....as well....so that could have been the clencher.....I would just eat more.....and hit the weights harder....

Thats interesting. How many sprints and how far? Do sprints give you the same health benefits as a half hour walk?

I know walking long distance lowers your cholesterol, and keeps your heart healthy and tons of other good things, but does sprinting give the same health benefits?

Does sprinting burn muscle like long distance cardio does?

Thanks.

i would think, i would think hard workouts with the weights would give you the same response as 30 minutes of walking in regards to cholesterol. Sprints will not burn as much calories while doing them, but keep burning more cals when you stop. At least this is as the story goes. I would think they would be less catabolic too, but i can't provide any scientific data. I used to go and do anywhere from 6-10 100's and depending some 50's. I used to like to do 10 100's where sprint, walk back and start again.
