Stubborn shoulders!

Okay ive got insanely stubborn shoulders! And this really brings my physique down.

Now I'm just wondering if I have stubborn shoulders should I be training them by them selves or with chest? And low or high reps ? I never feel a burn ever on low reps as this is what I always do, well I do high reps on side raise and low reps on mil press. What's your thoughts?

me personally I would do two set with higher reps 12 to 15 get the blood flowing to them. then I would do 3 drop set to burnout, targeting the front then the back
so I would work the front shoulders, then chest then back shoulders.
But I usually work Shoulders and Tri's

Me pesonally, I work shoulders on thier own seperate days. My Barbell Press I do light to heavy weight in sets of 12, 10, 8, 6. But things like Lateral Raise, I do maybe 2 sets of 8 with heavy weight, then lower the weight and do a set of 10.

Shoulders and calf's for me. 1) presses 2) side 3) front 4) rear 5) shrugs 6) presses. I will mix 2,3,4 and 5 up but always 1 and 6 stay the same. first presses is 5x5 heavy as possible for 5 reps. next presses are around 3 x 10 to 12 just to finish them off.

Like any stubborn body part shock them once in a while do shoulders only on the day 30- 40 sets for them really put some blood in there

CHEERS GT

i work shoulders on separate days with abs. its a small muscle group that gets a lot of indirect work...i would keep the sets low and intensity high..focus on compound movements (military press, arnolds press, db press, upright rows etc) and try to increase weight/reps whenever and where ever possible. you can try something like the fst-7 approach and do some pump sets at the end of your workout..i do it every now and then for variation and it helps. good luck...

standing military press doing 5 sets of 5 reps with heavy weights to get them strong and have a good base, then try some higher reps for mass

i would incorporate some face pulls as well,to help with your rear delts and rotator cuffs, ive done this since my shoulder surgery and im so much more stable in my shoulders and a bit stronger as well, and most importantly,it lessens the chance of tearing your rotator cuffs
