Stupid question injecting and hitting a vain!

hey guys i was injecting in my glute the other day and i pulled back on the plunger to check if i was in a vain , to my knowladge blood filled the syringe and i pulled out and got a new needle and got all the blood out of the barrel , what i dont get is some people say that you should feel pain when hitting a vain just checking did i do it all right ? , its quite rare to hit a vain where i did isnt it ?

you dont feel any pain when you hit a vein. i dont any how.
as for what you did you did fine. you can hit a vein any where. it will happen from time to time thats why you aspirate. and you did.
you seen blood you changed the pin and relocated and shot it.
did fine.
