Sucks being off Test!!! :( TRT?

Well just thought I'd say that I hate being off test. I must naturally have shitty levels. When I am on I feel good, my mood is better and most of all my anxiety is way down. Once I'm off for about 2 months my anxiety goes through the roof again. I get weird fellings of losing my breath or not being able to breath in all the way. Happened after my 1st one too. Doc said all was well then and chalked it up to anxiety. Put me on "Lexapro". Made me a zombie, I did'nt care about shit so I stopped it. Then I went back on Test again a while later and felt 100% better. I think I need testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I dont know how to approach the doc though about this. I think it would be best to explain my Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) usage and how I feel when I'm off. What would be considered a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose of test? 200mgs of Cyp e5d ?

If you can benefit from testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), then maybe it is a good option for you.

I am going to talk to my doctor about it. Only thing is he does'nt seem like the very understanding type. Doctors are'nt allowed to share your business though right?

In the United States, there is patient doctor privledge.

Unfortuantely, many physicians just haven't been training in appropriate testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). But hey, it is worth your asking. Androgel/Testim (and coming out now: generic Androgel) are good therapies for many men. Others, like myself, do much better with _weekly_ injections. I want to stress weekly, because the package insert for Depo-Testosterone still states that 200-400mg should be injected every 2-4 weeks and, unfortuantely, many physicians still subscribe to that horrible regimen.

I am going to get some bloodwork done soon and I'm going to have my test levels checked as well. If they come up low does that make you eligible for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Or do they want to keep checking them for a while first. I would only want the injectable form.

Depends on the physician. I physician that understands testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will often realize that low-normal testosterone levels, combined with symptoms of hypogonadism, mean that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is indicated.

I recommend that you get free testosterone and estradiol (sensitive) tested.

Sounds like a panic attack, which is comorbid with anxiety/depression. Lexapro is a very poor choice for this since they were just denied twice by the FDA for the panic attack and SAD (socal anxiety disorder) indication. There should be a sticky about the risk of depression/anxiety for the use and post use of AAS. That might actually scare off some of these young whiper snappers whore long to be all swole

I would tend to think that this is either psychological or a combination of you comming off the testosterone. I would not suggest having a regular general practioner evaluate you. Go to an endocronologist that deals with metabolism and reproductive in males. They will know the approprate tests to give you. Many younger men go on cycles and it becomes like an addiction, so much so that they "feel" they need it when in fact they don't. Comming off test in some male produces hormonal changes that can make them experience very significant mood changes. Another thing to think about is that if you were to talk to your family dr about cycles he could very well put this into your medical record, and if this happens, some insurers will not pay on claims that will relate to the this and or conditions that may result from use. Before you were to even discuss such things i would personally get the test done by an endo first then go from there.

Unfortuantely, I am many others have had better luck with general practitioners than endocrinologists. While endocrinologists _should_ be good with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), they tend not to be. Even worse, many of them are unwilling to learn. Why? I don't know.

Just get a Testosterone test to determine the amount of testosterone in your body to see if you are actually low on it or not. Might not be that.

Did he even bother to check your free testosterone level? Oh well, at least he isn't like most docs here.

Androgel has largely replaced Androderm, although the patches are still a viable treatment.

A nurse told me that at their med office they give 1/2 cc Test Depot every 2 weeks for ALL of their testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) patients. I then asked her if that dose seemed to work and most of the patients said that everything has been better since the shots started. SOoooooooooooooo, idunno

That's 100mg every two weeks. Insufficient. testosterone levels will be in the gutter by the time the next injection comes. They probably really like the shots because they feel like such shit prior to the injection.

Injectable testosterone can be prescribed and picked up from a pharmacy; no need to go in and pay a nurse to do it.

In theory what would a man need besides a jug of test and needles to put himself on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Anyone can find an UGL and buy a year's worth of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) test for maybe 100$. I have been wondering why more people don't do it this way. The obvious concerns here would be kissing your nuts goodbye forever and reproduction. What do testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) patients do to get around these effects?

Why is it that every guy... usually young guys nowadays think that they have low test levels when they come off. Of course you have low test levels dumbass, you just came off. What do you expect to have a full range of test right away.

Again, this is what most fail to realize when they begin researching a Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) cycle. then they do it, feel great, come off, hormones go to shit, and they wonder why they feel that way. "Oh, it must mean I have low test levels!!" Bullshit. It means you are a jackass who doesn't pay attention and didn't research properly.

Even with proper post cycle therapy (pct) everyone goes thru that stage when they come off. You have to be mentally strong enough to get past it and not go whining to some doc about you having low test. And feel free to talk to your GP about it, but once he writes it down in that med record, you take a chance forever on NEVER getting life/med insurance cause they can and will review everything.

Yet again why young, inexperienced men should not use steroids. And also why we see so many 160lbs idiots out there all jakced up on juice who get nothing from the cycle except a shit load of acne and water and then when they shrink after the cycle, the get right back on again cause it means they have 'low test levels'. Fucking morons.

I completely agree with this and I am not one of those guys, as I have not done a cycle yet. But I have been wondering about this for quite some time because I know that when I do cycle I, like eveyone who chooses to cycle, take the risk of permenantly damaging my test production and if this happens I'm not about to leave it up to some ignorant physician to decide whether or not I have test for the rest of my life.
