Teen calls mum as bears eat her!

A Russian teenager spoke to her mother by telephone for more than an hour as she was eaten alive by bears.

The Daily Mail reports that Olga Moskalyova, 19, gave a chilling hour-long running commentary on her own death in three separate calls as the wild animals mauled her near a river in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, eastern Siberia, recently.

Olga's distraught mother Tatiana listened on a mobile phone as her teenage screamed: "Mum, the bear is eating me! Mum, it’s such agony. Mum, help."

"Mum, the bears are back. She came back and brought her three babies. They’re... eating me.

"Mum, it’s not hurting any more. I don’t feel the pain. Forgive me for everything, I love you so much."
Tatiana told London's Daily Mail that at first she thought her daughter was joking.

"But then I heard the real horror and pain in Olga’s voice, and the sounds of a bear growling and chewing," she added. "I could have died then and there from shock."

Unknown to Tatiana, the bear had already killed her husband Igor Tsyganenkov, Olga’s stepfather, breaking his neck and smashing his skull, according to the Daily Mail.

Olga, a trainee psychologist, saw the attack on her stepfather in tall grass by the river. The bears chased her for about 70 metres before they grabbed her leg.
Tatiana alerted authorities and when they arrived half an hour later, the bears were still eating the pair, the Daily Mail reports.

Its a horror story!

We have a bear down south on display.. its a polar bear. (taxidermist)
The thing is about 20 foot standing up, there teeth are about 2inches long.
Youtube/Internet makes bears look small.
They are HUGE. Sharks still scarier tho IMO.
Jaws has really screwed my mind up.
 
wow...if I was that teen I would never in my life had done that to my mother....wtf, yes that death definitely sucks...but to leave your mother scarred for life? She will hear those bears in he dreams every night the rest of her life...

You know I bet her mother will commit suicide before the years over....

I could see calling if you know your about to die, saying I love you, I am sorry, I am in danger, send the police to help, then taking fate on....

That poor mother, that poor girl, that poor man....all fked up...damn.
 
Story

There has to be something else to the story. Were they taunting the bears? Did they threaten the cubs? Seems like there is something missing from the story. Either way it is a shame. Too young to die that way. I think the mother will become an active bear hunter now :-)
 
OMG.... why didnt they have a gun? in Alaska i think your required to have a gun when going out in the bush.

Some people are not smart!

The bear was on a hunt for food, hence the reason she brought her cubs back for a feed.
A hungry bear, with hungry cubs would attack a human on sight as-well as anyother animal.
Maybe When the bear killed her step-farther, it probably wanted another source of food.
The Bear could have Eaten Man, & the Cubs could have eaten the Female.. or they all share on both meals.
Humans would attack the first food source they could find, A shark when its hungry will stalk its prey and come up from underneath, Tigers and Lions kill humans all the time in Africa.
Animals are Animals and they kill when hungry. Its the only way to survive.

Hippos a slightly different, they are very protective over the babies.. a Hippo with a baby will attack,kill & leave you there.

Imagine a bear and its cubs chewing away at your leg, you would be able to hear your bones crunch while your laying there talking to your mother and you cant even run away.

It's home invasion..and lack of bear awareness in Russia. I feel sorry for those bears.

Fn poachers in Russia that hoard dwindling salmon stocks..creates a decline in food.

You park your ass in bear country than be prepared..to bad for the family sure.

Not sure of the whole scenario..and if the father had any respect for the wild and his family bringing them into extreme Siberia.

They say extreme...whatever that means with cell phone service.

Now 100's of bears will prolly get slaughtered..quite unfortunate way of bear awareness...just like swimming where the sharks do....your risk!

Too bad for the mom aswell that should never have had to listen to more than a "love you mom"...

In the end and before it happend the bears are the victim.

It's another case of human stupidity in some sorts..credit the russia givernment for it.
