Well guys I feel some soreness today. Approx 16 hours later, it just feels like someone tried to frog my leg and only barely missed. I can feel it when I fully bend my leg, but I can't find the spot just poking around on my leg...weird.
Yea Teutonic that's pretty rough. I feel you on the back injuries though, I have two herniated discs also and until decompression i had three herniated discs in my neck and the rest were immobilized from spasm and dehydrated, combined with a multi muscular imbalance of my left shoulder, pain is the game every day. Glad you're still truckin' but my pain tolerance is pretty high. Or at least comparatively to the people I know personally.
NBS007 I think if it sets in that fast isn't that from the BA? I heard if the BA is really high it hurts almost immediately, otherwise I'd expect the 24 hour turn around like most guys are saying.
Those that do have severe pain, I've read that rubbing it makes it worse! Oils are an irritant and rubbing the injection site moves them around and irritates the surrounding tissues. The best I've heard it to use a hot damp cloth over the injection site, or any kind of heated treatment. Basically from what I understand the pain comes from crystallization of the testosterone as it's released from the short esters, similar to a sugar knot when you get a knotted muscle. Advil will help inflammation and heat helps vasco dilation as well as to relax the tissue and keep healthy blood flow to move the material around. That's the best insight I can provide here, and most of it comes directly from other users. I'll see if I need to do any of it myself today.
Happy lifting!
