So lets get dome opinions, 37 years old. 6ft, 212 lbs 17% body fat (i know fat ass) working out couple years bench 225, Deadlift 405, Squat 315. 5 day split, 5 days cardio 3 steady state, 2 hiit. Calories 2500 to 2800 whole grains. Goal to put some more lean mass and strength on. Theory Testosterone will aid that and as a consequence fat will start to slowly melt off as a result.. Sound right on? AAS implementation sound strategy, or bad idea?

Your goals are really more diet dependant than steroid dependant. But generally yes, nothing adds more strength and chases fat like steroids.

Austin is correct. People read that testosterone can help with fat lose and think it will do the work. After reading your stats it looks like you've been around for a while and probably m is a bunch of Powdr Lifters.. Not many ripped PLs out there and most of the ones I run with are using a gram a week.

If you want to drop fat.. Diet is the key

Well I totally get that, but my goal I suppose is really to get more muscular and hoping more strength and lbm will consequently drop a few bf% points. Buuut I gotta be honest never done AAS and really am thinking trying a couple cycles of test to see what it does for me.. You think its a bad idea? Also 1 gram? That sounds like a ton!

Sooo basically im looking I guess for holy grail... Keep with the heavy lifting sceme and add a couple slices to definition

P.S. Hey again Austinite was conversating about same thing with you on another forum.. nice to see you

Ok cutting is general consensus... I have no test right now anyway.. Drop more calories you say? Suuuucks I love eating.. lol

Ha ha,,, That growth comment is kinda where I was going with that, I really enjoy trying to build, and see cutting kinda as a chore to be honest.

The rule of thumb is that diet plus the right exercise helps drop body fat.
Steroids plus the right diet helps build muscle.
Having more muscle, in turn will help burn more body fat because more muscle requires more calories to maintain (something like that I forget what the right word is). So if you are growing you will get leaner maybe a little, but diet is key for exponential loss of fat. 3J wouldn't be so successful if diet wasn't the key factor, I don't imagine (and I hope he is successful he has amazing feedback/results).

I don't mind anyone correcting me saying I am wrong here. So feel free, don't want bad advice.

3J is a sponsor here. He is a sports nutritionist and I've seen some excellent results from clients of his.

3J is a nutritional GOD! He is a MOD on this forum and has a nutritional service for helping people attain their Goals using the proper diet.
Google 3J will probably yield results. His services are reasonably priced and assuming you use his recommendations to the letter, you will get great results. Lots of testimonials on this site alone with pictures.

EDIT: Yes he is also a sponsor here.

Oh ok I see, sniffle sniffle. You guys arent saying what I wanted to hear... Mainly that he gives free consultation... Lol. Alright you guys have been great I appreciate ya

Ok im sold im checking him out:) you guys seem to be against trying a cycle of test... how come?

Test could aid in the loss of bf%. But if you plan to come off and pct..When that time comes, while or after pct, if your diet isn't clean, it might rebound and you will be in the same place you were. Assuming your diet and training are not in order. Make the best out of the cycle. IMO
