TRT added with specific supplements??

I wanted to start a new thread on this beside add on to my previous post. I just had a Total PSA reading of 0.8. And i was wondering what the forums opinions are with me trying AAKG & L citruline while on TRT. I understand that L arginine or maybe AAKG could agrevate my prostate while on TRT... but by how much is the question. Or would it be good to just supplement L citruline while on TRT. And does anybody know if L citruline has any negative impact on PSA??

well, from what I've seen (unless I am reading a diff scale) 0.8 is pretty darn good - so you're probably in good shape PSA wise.

PSA values for each age group were:

1.7 +/- 1.1 ng/ml for 40–49 years

2.0 +/- 1.2 ng/ml for 50–59 years

2.9 +/- 1.7 ng/ml for 60–69 years

3.5 +/- 2.0 ng/ml for 70–79 years

what are you hoping to gain from AAKG & L citruline?

Everything that I've read recently points to estradiol causing problems with the prostate, so I'd start with that. I've never heard of arginine or citruline causing problems and in fact I doubt they do much for the human body as a supplement anyway. Testosterone is a potent sex hormone in itself, so as long as your estrogen is in check and you don't have any underlying ED problems - you should be good to go. As this is the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum, I can't really discuss other compounds that may be beneficial for your bedroom prowess. ;)
