When using Minoxidil for facial hair growth, I recommend Minoxdil 5% solution. Generic brand name is Rogaine 5%. Apply twice daily, 1ml in morning and night.
As we know minoxidil will stimulate hair growth
but only if there are hair follices there. Most people with weak or non existent facial hair do in fact have follices, however for whatever reason were never stimulated into growing. Many people like me aren't gifted with a full healthy beard, but no worries because there is a way to change that.
There is a huge thread with thousands of peoples experiences on using minox for this reason, ill post the link to it incase anyone wants to read through it. I think it goes up to about 300+ pages, but from what I can tell the majority of people had great success and little sides.
So i should list the side effects:
-headaches (very uncommon)
-systemic absorbtion (common), due to blood circulation it will be absorbed systemically when applied to the face and cause slight hair growth to the rest of the body. (I havent noticed much body hair change yet)
-minoxidil reaction (i have had this about a month ago, face went a bit red and peeled. Told people i was sunburnt, easy gone in two-three days.
-slight hair growth up to cheekbones and nearing the eyes. This has happened to me and is due to the blood circulation carrying small amounts of minox higher up than where it was applied. Just pluck/wax these no worries. Not strong growth.
I myself have been using minox on the face. I am approaching 3 months of use, and already had fantastic results. Couple weeks ago i grew a beard i could never have done before. I will post my monthly pics taken at three days growth if anyones interested + the full beard shots.
For most people it will usually take about four months to notice a big change, however i noticed a big change around the two month mark and can see im gonna see alot more soon again (lots of little velus hairs developing.)
Just keen to see if there any interest in this as i've found it a god send. Can help people with patchy beards, none existent beards or hair anywhere on the body really if you want it.
