Therapeutic Deca protocol

I'm considering running a low dose of Deca (along with TRT @ 120mg/week) for an extended period of time for the sole purpose of allowing myself some relief from chronic joint pain. I have no prior experience with Deca.

I was thinking about running 75-100mg/week, but am definitely open to suggestions for a different dose.

Do you guys see any issues with my plan? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Sorry fellas, just saw that another member posted a similar thread that's still on the front page. Good info in there and seems to answer most of my questions.

It seems that my proposed dose is lower than what some of you would recommend. I'd like to keep it low, but not if I was just wasting my time.

Would 100mg/week be worthless?

200mg/wk.

Do you have estradiol under control?

And remember that it can cause a false positive reading on your TT lab so be careful if submitting to your doc's blood work.

Deca does aromatize a bit so monitor your E2 to see if an AI dose adjustment is needed.

Yes, my estradiol is finally dialed in where I like it, but I expect that to change a bit if I add Deca. I'll be keeping a close eye on it and taking action if it becomes problematic.

I'd also plan to run my own labs prior to a doctor's appointment just to be safe.

Even at a dose of 200mg/week I'm assuming it's still probably a good idea to have a DA around just in case?

Thanks for your help man.

Never a bad idea to have a DA in your hands when using Deca/Tren.

Got it.

Would it be worth it to start out with NPP and transition to Deca in order to start reaping the benefits a bit earlier? Might also give me the ability to abandon ship if I hate it for some reason.

Or is that just overthinking it?

Watch your HCT as well so def do bloods

Mine climbs easily when I run 140mg week whether or not I am running Deca. Also sources are important too. Don't wanna find yourself guessing as to the purity of Deca. Could be putting extra test in the mix or worse. Mega covered the false positive bloodwork readings.

Critics argue Nandrolone is suppressive on other systems (thyroid etc) so there's that consideration too. They tend to suggest Peptides instead.

I get bloods done every couple of months (only twice yearly are through my doctor). I only have my thyroid function checked yearly though, so I'll keep a closer eye on that as well.

My TRT usually dictates that I need to donate blood every 4 months or so, I'll keep a closer eye on my HCT and RBC once I add the Deca though. I'm ok with more frequent donations.

I'm only interested in pharma Deca, so hopefully that will eliminate the uncertainty there.

Any thoughts on my above post about starting with NPP and transitioning to Deca? Unnecessary?

Thanks man.

Wow - that's the first I've heard that deca is suppressive to thyroid. I've done a fair amount of research and this never came up.

DA?

I'd be ok with some bloat.

I'll probably start at 200mg/week and only increase if it's not providing some relief within a couple of months.

I try to take it pretty easy in the gym anyway, aging has not been good to my tendons. Just looking for some pain relief and the ability to get through a shift at work with less aches.
