They say T3 is catabolic, well, they're right! I found out the hard way

So I was on a t3 and clen cycle for 2 weeks, it went like this

t3 - 50mcg
clen - 40mcg

I am 5"10 193 and 11.9% bf

After 2 weeks I was 11.5% and 187lbs.

5lbs in 2 weeks is a lot, based on my bf%. However it was mostly muscle. I was banging 140lb on the flat bench reppin em for 3x6.

Now i feel like a pussy struggling with 125lbs to get 6 reps out. I thought T3 would be slightly catabolic but it ate my juicy muscles up like they werent shit.

Ive been long cutting for now, I started at 212 17% bf and i didnt lose musch strength, a tiny bit of mass but not strength.

T3 ate my muscle on a caloric deficit. Protein was very high. I dont think id use T3 again, even on gear.

must have a lot to do with your diet bro because the low dosage of t3/clen (50mcg/40mcg) even if taken for 6-8 wks will eat away at the fat slow and steady, but should have almost no catabolic effect on muscle tissue

sounds like u went on the t3/clen and stopped eating as well... u gotta eat

and pushing 140lb dumbells on flat at 190lbs is damn impressive if true... i'd pay to see that shit. I train with some pretty high level competitors (bodybuilders) and none of them can do that. I'm 5'10", 240 and I'm only able to push the 130's for 5 ;)
 
Hmm I didnt change my diet up too much, I actually ate a little more since T3 made my metabolism gear up. I was getting in about 1900-2100cal a day, 250g protein and the rest were carbs and under 50g fat. Maybe T3 just has a catabolic effect on my body, who knows.

Lol if you go on youtube theres smaller guys pushin 140lb DBs, my partner who I train with is 5"6 160lbs and he pushes 130lbs on flat! Now thats impressive. Hes not natural of course lol

It could also be something as simple as a lack of rest between workouts...whats your workout like? are always doing 6reps and under, high intensity? how often do you complete lifts? your training could have fatigued your CNS and you need some rest..in that case try deloading for a week or 2.

Bottom line is there is 100 reasons why this could be happening. T3 @50mcg/day shouldn't eat away at your muscles...Also if you weigh 190 @11.5% bf you shouldn't need T3 to lose fat if you are taking in 2000cal/day...I can cut on that without T3 and you got 20lbs of muscle on me

was this at the end of a cycle ? or post post cycle therapy (pct) ?

were you running test during this ?
 
I dont know if you ran with AAS or not, but I would say that your not big enough to use them yet, although you are close. Personally my lean body mass is 210lbs, but I started when my lean bodymass was 180-185ish. But if your going to use anyways, Id say do a big cycle, and then do the small T3 cycle during the begining, and eat your maintence calories, see if you can build and loss at the same time. That is what Im doing right now, with test and tren ace. It is my first time with t3 though I will till you that, so I might not be the best person to listen to.
