Hey everyone.
Im 28 years old and started lifting years ago. I was 135 now up to 156. seems good, but dont really look different. I was diagnosed with low test and had to go on TRT..been taking clomid for about 6 months and my test levels are at 1050. I figured the high test will increase muscle mass but doesnt seem that way. My diet is pretty sound 3 big meals with snacks in between. I been taking cell tech and nitro tech post workout and all other food is complete proteins. I was doing a strength program for awhile thinking I would get bigger as i got stronger but didnt happen. I switched to a bodybuilding program that is based on time under tension. I seem to get better pumps and feel bigger.. But lately I feel like I work out alot and have nothing to show. I have the clomid prescription for the next year. I have been debating taking steriods and was thinking of a Test E cycle 10-12 weeks 2 week break and start clomid again. I know novadex is good but not sure if i need it. I have been looking into this for sometime but not sure if its the right move because im on trt.. Any help would be nice

-keep lifting-

Forgive me for my retardation but clomid is considered trt?

Also wondering what your clomid protocol is?

I take 50mg every few days

I eat 3000 a day, sometimes more, hardly ever less. 5'9. Yes clomid is used as TRT i was puzzled too when that was an option but the doctor said it was experimental and no real studies yet on long term use, but it boosted my test through the roof although he said my estrogen was kind of high not sure how to fix that. Thanks everyone. Oh i been taking 50mg everyother day..

Clomid isn't TRT. TRT stands for Testosterone Replacement Therapy and it gives the body testosterone from outside sources. Clomid helps the body produce its own. If you want to do a cycle I would start with Test like you stated above. I would also take HCG while on and HCG after the cycle before you start taking the clomid again.

HCG might be hard to come across is there an alternative. Trying to see what i can get prescribed. Also if I did do a test cycle would i discontinue the clomid till 2 weeks after the cycle?

Your test levels are fine - so diet, particularly caloric intake becomes suspect.

You mention 3000 calories per day - if you're not growing that must be approximately your maintenance requirement.

Add 500 calories on top of that per day, and voila - you -should- gain weight. If not, add more calories (700 - 1000) and see what happens.

Glad you have dat dere cell tech
