Time to take the plunge, but when?

Hi guys, I'm brand new to all this and am just looking for some advice to begin with.

I've just come off 3 straight weeks of bodybuilding comps and the whole time I've been competing I've been researching and thinking about getting in a cycle.
The only thing stopping me right at this moment is that recent very big changes means the wife and I will be moving interstate in 14 weeks but also taking a 2 week holiday in 12 weeks going OS.

My question is would it be worthwhile starting a cycle now (given timeframe 8 week test-e) or would I be better off just keeping it natty with my bulking till I get to the new local then having the time to com it to a full 12 weeks.
Also keeping in mind that I have a reliable source right now BUT won't be training for the two weeks abroad during PCT.

Forgive me if this is a no brainer but as i said I'm all new to this.

You don't want to be crashing while on vacation Nesbit! Hold off. If your sex drive tanks like many of ours do during PCT it will ruin the wifes vacation also. You would probably be moody and not feeling well too

If you can get some test prop right now I'd say go for it. As long as you have your Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and pct drugs in hand before you start. Run an 8 week cycle of prop due to it's short esters and you should be done with pct by the time your vacay starts. If you can only get c or e I'd hold off because as was mentioned above, vacation would suck while your crashing.

But he wouldn't be able to train during PCT, right?

What are you stats (age, height, weight, and training history)? Its hard to give any cycle advice without knowing more. However, it's unlikely that 8 weeks would be long enough to get the results you're looking for.

You said you just came off 3 weeks of bodybuilding competition. What kind of competition and how did you do?

Thanks for the fast replies guys.

I was more after an idea of timing given the restraints rather than cycle building but stats are.
Age: 25
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 180lb (82kg)
Bf: not sure but very low!
Been training 7-8yrs very strict natural, hell ive only just started on DMMA!

As for comps
Local INBA 2nd open, National INBA 6th in tallest div. National WFF 4th in tallest div.
Each comp I was told I was without a doubt a top 3 or first place with bigger legs, I know gear wont be a magic leg grow formula but I train damn hard and diet impeccably id just like to get some good results for once.

As for the holiday and all were going the drive your own camper tour so no gym outside of bike riding and the occasional camper van deadlift for 2 weeks followed by slack training the one or two after as we move.
Sounds like I should hold off, make connections at the new place and start there.
