The morning is my biggest meal, I eat i carton egg whites, 3 whole eggs mixed w/ a half cup whole grain oats, and I also eat a whole wheat bagel w/ all natural strawberry jam. it is about 87 total carbs in one meal. Is that too many? or is it ok since it is the first thing in the morning?

ohh yea I am cutting too, I weigh 162lbs, 5'9" and the only other carbs I eat is around 1pm, I will have a salmon sandwich on whole wheat again.

If you are cutting then 80g carbs is way to much.
I would only eat 20g if I'm cutting

If you are eating good quality carbs, then NO.
If you eat a solid diet with adequate carbs, fat, and protein I don't think it is possible to eat too much carbs or Protein. Fat, you'll have to keep on, but carbs and protein.. go wild. Unless you have a bad metabolism, you may have to watch all your macronutrient. Myslef, if I eat clean I can eat whatever and as much as I want .

that is good to hear, all I eat is whole wheat bread, oatmeal, and brown rice that isn't protein related and fills me up.

But is there a certain limit, i should limit myself too? or should I just cut off the carbs at a certain time of day. I have heard both case scenarios where some people will only eat "X" amount of carbs and others eat good carbs all day but nothing past like 4pm.

Sorry for all the questions I just don't want to waste all my time dieting "wrong" and the only results I get are from cardio.

no you are not eating too many carbs in the morning. just stay away from the white stuff and make sure you have good quality low gi carbs like was stated previously.

nothing processed if poss.
