Hi everyone,
I'm a 30 year old male who is 5ft 10 and weighs 19st 2lb and I am way overweight my BF is 47%. I have had 6 years of health issues relating to spinal surgery and had stopped me exercise fully. I used to play football a lot before my 1st surgery and was pretty lean and healthy.

I have never had to diet but need to shift this weight I feel tired and sluggish 24/7. I have been cleared by specialist and doctors to do cardio and light weights, and would really appreciate any help in putting together a diet to kick off this excess weight. I have no restrictions on what I can eat except for broccoli and cauliflower which literally makes me want to throw up as soon as I taste it but as said I'm totally at a lost end. I struggle to put my socks and shoes and feel totally uncomfortable and admit I've eaten junk food that I never should have!

I am willing to do anything to get my body into better shape, my financial situation is ok so not restricted on buying what I need and any help would me greatly appreciated. I found this website via Google search and thought I'd give it a try. No harm in asking right?

I do not drink any alcohol at all and do not smoke just incase anyone needed to know that. Hopefully I can get some great advice and get my body back on track a little.

Thanks.

The best thing you can do is start somewhere, I was also overweight and eating garbage so I started small, stopped the crap eating( you know what I mean) didn't really start a diet just started eating better and less of it and started walking, now I'm riding my bike 5-10 miles (depending how i feel) every other day and lifting lite on the other days. I've lost 35 pounds in the last year and didn't really try to kill myself, just start, start slow eat less and eat better. Send a post to 3j he can help you with a real diet but when it all comes down to it just start. Hopes this helps
