train one week, rest the next?

Hi guys.

Due to my new job it´s hard for me to hit the gym during my work weeks. I work 7 days, and am off 7 days.
I´m currently bulking and I´m wondering of this way of training is good or bad, if bad, how bad? I´ve been training for 3 years and am in pretty good shape if thhose informarion are benefitial.
I have a problem findng the energy and time to train during my 12 hour shifts.

Please send me some feed back about this.
 
I worked a 7 and 7 shift for a while too and I hear what your saying about finding the energy after a 12hr shift, I would do a couple different things while I was on shift. On days off I would usually train 3 on 1 off and 3 on again then on days on I would only go to the gym one day in the middle of the set and ONLY do deadlifts flat bench and squats, I also might throw and arm day in there at some point too at home with only free weights, sometimes taking a full week off from time to time is perfectly ok but as far as im concern doing it every other week is counter productive and is going to hinder your gains.
I would only go to the gym once while on shift because the time it took to get all that done and eat and relax before bed would cut into the amount of time you have to sleep big time and too many days of not enough sleep is only going to hurt, try that and I think you find that youll still be able to bulk and gain muscle without killing yourself due to lack of sleep!!!!!
