Training Order

Is it OK to train triceps the day after shoulders? Are the tris worked enough during shoulder training to justify having too wait at least 48 hours?

I would NOT have a day just devoted to triceps and ONE just devoted to shoulders unless youre like 250 at 10%..... Post up your workout routine

My current split is as follows:
stats: 34, 5'9" 215 lbs, bf% ? probably around 15%

Monday: Chest, Calves
Tuesday: Back
Wednesday: Hams, Calves
Thursday: Shoulders
Friday: Bis, Tris
Saturday: Legs

I don't like to train legs after back because I do deadlifts which hit the legs somewhat.

I don't like to train shoulders after back because many back excercises also hit the rear delts.

Alright SHR

I would condense that into a 4 day routine

Put Chest/back together.

secondly, you REALLY don't need that much direct delt work if you do your presing movments. For cosmetic purposes you really only need to do lateral work, and you shouldnt need an entire gym dedicated to doing lateral work. I like your setup 2 upper and 2 lowers

Make it like this

UPPER 1
Chest
Tris
Back
Bicep

LOWER 1
Legs

Upper 2

same as uppr 1 just different exercises, sets/reps, etc.

This way you can hit all muscles groups twice and there wont be any over lap

Lower2

same as lower 1 just different exercises sets/reps etc

Skarhead, can you expand on that routine? I feel like I'd be at the gym for 2.5 hours if I did chest, tris, back, bis in a single routine. How many exercises?

you should not be working opposing muscle groups on the same day....

i.e.: Tri's/bi's, chest/back
