Tricep Lying Extension Ez Bar Correct Form

HI just wanted everyones input on this. I see alot of guys when doing this excersice keep elbows slightly away from their heads and when extending let the bar just brush their head and then extend up again,
I on the other hand keep my elbows tucked as close to my head as possilbe and extend my arms way behind my head to get a full stretch.

Which way is better or is it a matter of preference?
 
I bring the bar all the way back so it touches the top of the bench behind my head for a good stretch. I keep elbows in but not waaay in, just comfortable. My elbows never go to 90 degrees, I keep them back so there is constant stress. I use a flat bench 99% of the time.

Works great for me with an ez curl bar. I do 3-4 sets with 10-5 reps.
 
Ditto, I go behind the head really. I do not force my elbows in at all, let them be positioned naturally.
