Been on trt for 6 months now and started getting really bad acne about a month ago. I got myself some aromasin and been on it for 2 weeks at 12.5mg per day but nothing is improving and it seems like its getting worse.

any tips??? should i up it to 25mg per day?

thanks

What is your trt protocol?

What is your e2? To much AI will crash estogen

Where did you hear that aromas in is good for acne havn't heard of that.

test e 200mg per week. e2 tested at 69.

Isn't acne a side effect from too much estrogen?? so tried to lower e2 from taking ai to reduce the acne.

Around the 5-6 month mark I broke out bad on body. Skin also got super oily. Lasted a few months, then out of nowhere, just stopped.

Estrogen can be, yes. I got acne with low estrogen so who knows. Just be careful. You want estrogen in the right spot, but not too low. I would rather have acne than low estrogen which feels like death.

did u do anything to combat the acne? was u on ai?

Did your doctor prescribed the aromisin or did you find it on your own? Aromasin isncommonly faked.

Best thing to do is get blood work again to see if two weeks of Aromasin has lowered your estradiol. Don't up the dose without doing this. 12.5mg/day is a lot on your Test dosage.

And to answer your question, acne is a common side effect of high estradiol.

And just to confirm, you check estradiol right? Not Total Estrogen or Estrone?

I took Pantothenic Acid 500mg (Vitamin B5), two pills twice a day. Also did spot treatments of 10% Benzoyl Peroxide cream, which is available in the acne section of most grocery stores. Be careful though, its strong and will irritate the hell out of your skin if you apply too often. I did it once a night on trouble spots, then backed off when the area got red/itchy.

No - I did not use an AI, since my estrogen wasn't high. AIs lower estrogen, but don't directly combat acne. If your acne is caused by high estrogen, then it can help.

I am still on the B5 daily, but don't really have any acne anymore. Oddly enough, one day, the greasy skin and acne just kind of stopped. The entire acne trip was probably about 3 months.
