TRT/HRT and Fertility?

TraPump

Getting Bigger and Bigger
Hey guys,

I've been planning on running a test only cycle for my first cycle for a few months now. Just furthering my research here with this thread. I've google'd this same question and seen some answer's on some other boards. Just wanted to get the opinions of this board though.

If I were to run some test and did everything properly including oct and pct and god forbid the worst happened and I ended up on trt/hrt, would I ever be able to have kids in the future?

Thanks for any input fellas.

You're going to get a lot of different answers.

Everything is relative to you, everyone is different.

Some people's body is harshly affected and others not at all.

I just got my Test results and they came back low below 200 and I have been trying to get my wife pregnant for a few months so we were beginning to think my sperm count was low too.

Well right after low T results came in we found out she's pregnant so that means with low T my boys are still producing enough, for now.

thanks for your reply strong. ya i've gotten mixed answers in my prior research as well it just depends and seems to be on an each individual basis. thanks again for your response..

Dude I've been blasting a cruising for about a year and I've got quite a few cycles under my belt. I still managed to get my girl pregnant on cycle and she was on birth control!

It was obviously meant to happen but my point is you will be fine! Plenty of juiced up bodybuilders have kids. Shit Ronnie and Jay have kids!

Sperm count has nothing to do with low T. However, it is directly proportional to shutting down the leydig cells stimulus (LH). The fact is if you inject T, you will be shutting down the leydig cells stimulus, thus sperm count will nearly dissapear. If you cycle, then restart, it may or may not get them running again. It's a crap shoot. Many guys have to do Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for life afterwards, just look around the board. For every guy that says their GF/wife is pregnant, there's 10 that try and can't.

Now for my guess at what might help. Run Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) while you cycle, then they never shut them down. But I'm no Dr., and this is the wrong forum for cycling posts. Maybe go to a sperm bank first.

thank you both for your input and information. thanks for the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) advice, i will be using it on cycle as a precaution for sure. you guys are awesome, appreciate everyones input to this board.

High enough doses of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will almost certainly make you subfertile and probably eventually sterile, but it's temporary and transient.
HCG will delay this for several months, but if you want to ensure that you stay fertile during testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), take Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and FSH.
If you can't afford FSH, the good news is that even if your sperm production goes down while on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), 99% of the time it will come back if you go off and want to have kids.
For peace of mind, bank some sperm - either way, don't sweat it.
