United health care good about handling trt?

Off top of my head not sure exactly which plan I have but anyone out there know about UHC handling outpatient trt injections?

Do self injections. They are easy and it gives you more control over your TRT protocol. It would be incredibly inconvenient to have to go in for injections the rest of your life.

I have UHC and they cover all testing and doctor visits. I have a scrpt for my T so that is covered by my prescription card.

There is a TRT clinic nearby that runs insurance. I had them check my UHC plan and it was not covered. It might have been if I went through my primary physician, however.

Insurance policies are not cookie cutter, if you have insurance through your company then there might be some treatments excluded in order to get pricing down.

Of course. It is cheaper for them if you self inject. Insurance companies like paying less.

They like paying less so much they stopped covering my arimidex ($5 more). My doctor appealed. Insurance company had one of there goons I mean doctors try to tell my gp why I don't need arimidex. This is after we gave them labs that show my e2 at 58.
