I aspirated and got blood. Pulled out. A drop of blood got into the syringe. Do I have to waste all that gear or is it ok to pick another spot with the same oil even though a drop of blood got in it?

I'm not wasting a pin over 1 drop of blood. Good job remembering to aspirate. Reinject is what I would do I've never heard anyone suggesting to ditch the Syringe in your situation. I would change needles however. Good Luck

I always change the pin and re-inject. I leave the blood in.

Leaving the blood in is fine, remember, it's your blood. lol.

and when you get "good" you wont need to pull the pin out...just adjust the depth till you aspirate bubbles...and yes you can see bubbles with a fully loaded syringe of blood...been there done that haha

you can just pick another spot and pin...with the blood in it..no big deal...personally i would change the needle cus i like mine sharp and un used...it dulls the needle even if u pin just once.

Explain.....:molepoke:

Ive had blood get in my syringes a few times but once blood accidently filled my syringe when I aspirated..it doesnt take alot to turn your gear all red ;)

anyway anytime I get blood I never take the pin out....i either push it in deeper or pull it out a little and reaspirate...you can see bubbles coming in easily through the blood...so basically what I am doing is pushing the needle all the way through the vien im in or pulling it out of the vien but either way I dont pull the pin out.

also if you use the bubble lock method as I do then just watch for the bubble by your stopper to get bigger...that means you are in muscle (you dont see bubbles coming up from the needle end with the bubble lock method)
