JACKDAROIDER said:They are trying to make it harder for people to purchase it. They want the money and a patent, some of the legitimate licensed research companies have gotten contracts with USA based peptide companies. They can make it for them. It is not going anywhere yet. Especially since it was invented at the University of Arizona. Problem is from what I hear is that a lot of the research sites are being contacted to let them know they need an agricultural permit and be labeled as a research company with a special tax id number. This is a warning to anyone selling research chemicals and are listed as a supplement/nutrition company in their state. If LE wants to, they could theoretically charge these sites with fraud for selling research chems based on their tax ID# according to my attorney. This is how they were able to start investigating Universal kits. He was listed as a human/ nutritional website. Obviously that was a bad move... I have been told by some that they have made it almost impossible to get an agricultural research permit now. People trying to switch their companies over from supplemental to research are being denied a tax id#. Well, thats the latest information I have received about how the law is trying to handle a law they do not like.... LOL. I think it is a wonderful law, and because of it, many cures and treatments for obesity, cancer, alzheimers, and aids have been done. Big pharmacy profits by these laws being in place, so it will not be easy to just change them, so you know they will nit pick anything to shut the research sites down.....
tstein said:Rocko, isn't a little UV required to get the tan with this stuff? I thought sun\UV is still required...the melanotan just "amplifies" the tan effect.
abouthalfacup said:wow at all the ignorant people in this thread.
melanotan was invited for people with a skin type I, which means you never tan and always burn. Be grateful you can actually get a tan because there are a bunch of people out there that cant. This stuff can be life changing for some. Most type I's are at a high risk of skin cancer and with this stuff you can get minimal sun exposure and get a great tan and the risk of sunburn is nonexistant unless you are out in the direct sun for very long periods.. The long term effects of this stuff is still unknown and it still could be awhile before this stuff gets approved to hit the market. I would not touch this stuff unless you are a type 1 or type 2 at the most. No since being a guinea pig if you can tan naturally.
tstein said:Melanotan I probably will. It's in phase III of clinical trials (the final phase). I doubt you will ever see Melanotan II approved, however.
