use of testosterone gel to heal and gain muscle

First post..sorry its gunna be long..double part question.. 52y/o longtime lifter,, always hard to put on and keep on wt .looked good att 170 but started running for cardio that I never did and running got me fairly ripped but lost over 15lbs. and lost some strength. went to mexico for vacation and bought
some Lowtiyel brand testosterone gel thinking I could use it to help build muscle. ...If it does, im Not sure how to often to apply . Im only trying to gain 15lbs . part two of question is that 1week prior to mexico, I popped something in the back of my elbow lifting and developed and effusion. I don't have much pain, but have been benching and doing extremely light wt as to not aggivate it more.. back and biceps do not effect it.... so part two is.. do I wait till
elbow is healed and I can lift heavy to use test gel, or do if I use it now will it help my elbow heal faster??? thanks in advance for
any help
 
Gel is just going to shut down your natural test production and replace what was lost. It is not going to be enough to get you to supra physiological levels. Cycling on gel would at best be pointless and most likely would actually be detrimental. No point shutting yourself down to get back to where you started at.
 
Thanks Megatron.... I guess I wasted that money.... any suggestions on how to put on the 15lbs and heal the elbow... without wasting money or getting too big?
 
The best advice we can give is to read all the stickies and some of the relevant steroid profiles. How tall are you and what is your bf%? Have you ever used gear before? Sounds like no, but never know.
 
Well I do eat... a lot... Im 52 and it has always been difficult to gain and keep wt on... that's why I thought with being older. I may need help with chemicals..... and as far as the elbow... the older you get the longer it takes.. the longer it takes the more wt I lose cause I cant lift, or lift any significant weight... and again I figured I could use the help of chemicals... u hear all the time professional athletes healing quickly using PED.... I am 5ft 8in weigh 153... fairly lean im almost at the 6pk look from running but don't know my exact BF%... and ive never used anything except for protein before... I think im at the age where I need a little assistance.. I look too skinny and small at 153...again.. thanks for any suggestions
