Mini Rocky
So my TDEE averages around 2500 if im being nice about it and only using 1.6, if im being honest and doing 1.8 its around 2800. I used to be anorexic and decided I wanted to gain weight doing bulking phase. Before my bulk i was anorexic for about more then half a year eating some days from 700-1300 calories. And I was more active then I am now. I was losing 1lb-2lb a week for some time until i hit a platue for a month straight. Now in my bulking phase I did the tdee for the first month eating around 2700 calories and I gained like 8lbs the first month, so I cut it drastically down to 1900 calories which I was on a steady pace of .5lb a week for 4 months. Now for some odd reason instead of the .5lb a week and im gaining about 1lb a week, im still at 1900 calories. And yes I'm accurately weighing and and calculating.
I am bulking and I do want that .5lb a week but should i rlly just go back to eating 2500-2800 calories a week with a surplus of 200 like it says for my TDEE. Could my body just be fucked from the anorexia and wants to put weight in, or could the low calorie actually be holding me back and wanting to hold onto the weight? Was thinking of eating 3000 calories a day for a month and see what happens. I am 5'3 143 lbs, I HIIT 3 times a week for cardiovascular endurance (not for calorie burn), weight lift 5 times a week, work 32 hrs a week, and walk a mile everyday with my dog.
