Using Arimidex only for TRT?

Since I lost my job I've had no health insurance so decided to sub adex for awhile for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Previously I was taking T cyp at 200mg EOW.

I've been using adex at 1/2 pill e3d for about 5 weeks now. I feel ok, have the same amount of energy. Keeping/increasing gains in the gym. I haven't paid much attention to it until recently, but it doesn't seem morning erections are necessarily as predominant as they have been in the past.

What's the skinny on taking AI's in general when it comes to nonPCT use? Should I be using tamixofen instead? Something else altogether?

You need to correct your test levels.
An Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will not replace your TRT.
100mg weekly will keep your blood levels more stable than
your current regimen.
As for your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) needs, talk to CHIP here on the board. He is a straight up professional
guy who is reasonable and offers a great service.

JMB1 is correct- you need to inject EW not EOW- more frequent injects will keep your level alot more stable. I've been on for 4yrs @ 200mg/EW

I emailed Chip.

DeepSouth, I agree on the EW regimen. Before my endo stopped treating me I started using the t-cyp more liberally. I feel like ~200mg EW is about right for me as the lowest T I had, after about 15 days, was tested at ~200 ng/dl. That just doesn't work for me.

The main thing is to get blood tests at normal intervals to see how things are going.

I got the blood test back and total T is 351 ng/dl. Free T was not tested. Pretty conservative results. Time to get some T. I don't recall the exact reading but estradiol was in the low-normal range (no surprise)

I keep my levels between 500-800, but normal can be all the way up to 1000-1200- just can't get my Doc to let me stay that high
