Hi, everybody. I used to lurk on the forum a long time ago for BB info, but I hadn't been on in a few years. I recently came back to get some info on low T. I'm finding some great stuff here and I want to thank everybody. So, here's my question.
I have an appointment with my urologist on Wednesday to get my T checked. I won't bore you with my story, but I have all of the symptoms of very low T and I'm really excited by the possibility of finally finding out why I've felt this way. Several years ago I had a vasectomy (I'm 42 now). A couple of years later I saw my urologist about some bad testicular pain. The result was a diagnosis of a cyst and varicocele. Nothing was done for it and I haven't felt any real pain since. Now that I'm going to see my urologist about low T I'm wondering if he might suggest varicocelectomy. I've read that T levels increase on average 115ng/dl for patients having bilateral varicocelectomy. Has anybody on this forum had that procedure and did your T levels increase? Has anybody opted for TRT rather than having the procedure? If so, why?
Thanks again, everybody. I'm very, very happy to have found all of the information on this forum!
