Guys pick up some liquid vitamin d. I got mine at vitamin shop. It's 5000 IU per serving. I load a dropper under my tongue for 20 seconds keeping it there then swallowing it. Vitamin D not only helps produce neurotransmitters, T cells (defender cells of the immune system) actually bind to vitamin D. Naturopaths use liquid vitamin D to kill infections/colds. I can't tell you how much better I feel since taking it. I've been working night shifts and averaging several hours of sleep the last couple nights and have felt great the whole day.

Are you saying this keeps you up at night so you only sleep a couple of hours, or are you sleeping on the job? Just kidding. Would like to try this ASAP. Thanks cjw

Can you expand on what you mean by several hours a night? I only sleep about 6 hours a night and find myself dragging. part of this could be the low T levels though.

Way back when I first was diagnosed with Low T, my blood test also showed low levels of vitamin D. Unfortunately, I have not taken it daily, but I will make sure I add it to my routine now.

yeah liquid form do it sublingual then swallow.

spongy without normal t levels and free t and normal shbg you'll feel tired no matter what.

then a year down the road, they will find some study where it causes cancer lol like the talk about Vitamin E not being good for man and the prostate.

I used to not really respect the power of vitamins until I actually ran labs showing deficiencies and then came to the conclusion that I wasn't converting B vitamins. But ya shithead I'm sure there is a study out there for everything saying everything is potentially dangerous. Hell water in large amounts is dangerous unless you are a fish. lol

It was found that I was pretty low in Vitamin D last spring. I've been supplementing with 6000 IU's in capsule form since and to be honest, I haven't felt any different.

jwow try the liquid form...sublingual/liquid whenever possible. I don't feel anything unless i take it sublingual.

If I recall correctly, I do remember reading something briefly about sublingual being a better form. Where do you get yours?

I was visiting with a long time freind last month, he told me he has been taking D for the last year, he was really impressed with his results, his joints and bones feel 100% better he says, but he said it took about 9 months for the full benifits to kick in. My blood test in May showed a level of 20, normal is 32-100. I've been taking 5000 iu for about 5 months now, I'm hoping for some relief in my bones and joints but also from seasonal depression which always kicks in when the days get short. I'm 58, he's 56 we're both very active and in good shape

pedestrian it is possible that you were never deficient in it to begin with. Most people are though. I was at a level of 25.

That is entirely possible and also why I assume it made no noticeable difference to me. I still take it in the winter months cause I figure it sure cant hurt and there is way less sun here come winter time. But I cant say i notice any difference.
