Vitamin E reduces post-workout soreness

There was a study done at Tufts University in Boston. There was two groups of healthy men, young and old. The young group had an age range of 23-35 and the older group ranged from 66-78. They were either given a placebo or 1,000 IU of Vitamin E eevryday for three months. Muscle damage, oxidative stress, and inflammation all continued to occur after intense exercise, but the people who took the Vitamin E were shown to have a great reduction in all of the above.
