body composition
bf%

1 pound of muscle is the same as 1 pound of fat but the volume is much different

drew is right but genetics also plays a role. some people naturally have wide broad shoulders, or big arms, etc.

Yeah various genetic factors come into play here bone density and the like but also muscle density some people's muscles may be bigger but they aren't as hard as someone else all that kind of thing factors in.

And drewbolic is right about the bf that makes a huge difference it is very rare 2 people will be in exactly the same condition and just 1 bodyfat % off can be the difference of several pounds well you add several pounds of fat over a persons body and they're going to look much bigger even if their condition looks very similar to the other guy.

I was around 175-178lbs in this pic. Even experienced bodybuilders couldn't understand that was my weight. People would estimate me at 200-205.
It still beats me bro. Don't know what you guys think, but I firmly believe it has a good deal to do with bone size. I notice that people with thin wrists tend to be lighter than people with thicker wrists.

what was your bf%?
body comp and bone density has a lot to do with it.

At my previous gym a co-worker another pt was only about 5-7 lbs heavier but looked much much bigger than me if we were side by side.At the tim my bf% was single digits and his was around 14% if i remember right, that is what i contribute the difference in weight appearance

I have this same scenario with my workout partner. His BF is a little more than mine weighing about 7-10lbs more but looking much much bigger than me with clothes off. However, at the beach or anywhere we get to take off our clothes I def. get the attention :kiss2:

hmm not exactly sure what the bf was in that pic Im gonna guess around 11-12% actually now that I look maybe closer to 12-13%, but I know this..I have just about the thinest wrist I have ever seen on a male, I am guessing that has something to do with bone density and bone mass as well.

bone density could but our skeletons are very light and dont count for much of our overall weight

My buddy weighs about 5 lbs lighter than me and were both 5'8 but my upper body is much wider than his and thicker but he makes up the weight with his legs. The guys got tree trunks for legs with the thickest glutes ever. Everyone is put together different.

i have the opposite issue. I have a very long torso and arms, with skinny little girl wrists. i look like i weigh way less than i do. i weight about 225 at, 15% bf and look like i might weigh 200.

was his frame just bigger than yours?

think alot of it is genetic. before i started working out, a weighed 170lbs and looked like i was anorexic. whereas on other bodybuilding sites, ive seen guys my height and 180 lbs who looked massive.

i would rather weigh alot less than i look lol.

weighing alot has no benefit, only forcing you to eat more.

Weighing alor has no benifit?? Your saying that on a steroid forum??? More lbs means more muscle built.

yea i love being that big. im tall though so i don look that big. 6'3 plus im no meso thats for sure. got a little belly fat too. I would say im 13-14%

so far though I dont want to make the sacrifices it takes to get lower than that. We will see though maybe one day. I applaud how far you have come Drew........that back pic is looking great bro.
