lets agree, that we don't have to agree on anything
you presume to know what i have and have not done
you're back to essentially playing " maybes " again..
maybe there is a good reason I'm not impressed with those " brawlers" from the early ufc, at all .
they don't impress me, i never found watching those fights to be anything entertaining.
to me..
they looked stupid, they looked dumb. those fights were ugly sideshows for ignorant fans, and the most ridiculous and horrible representation of mma and combat sports in general. that clear enough?
look up what a thai boxer named maurice smith did to your hero
what maurice did over and over again, as a retired thai boxer, to all those early generation ufc brawlers..
you like brawlers?
because they're tough and aggressive and physical!
maurice smith is ALL those things, and he brings so much more to the table.
a master technician, ring generalship, tenacity of spirit - not born of a brute strength he woke up with one day - he trained and conditioned his mind and body into the machine he wanted it to be.. and he is a gentleman. a human being whose character as a man, is respectable and honorable. he is a first class ambassador for his sport - for OUR sport.
maybe i fought out of the same gym as someone who, in turn, defeated maurice
and still , i have nothing but respect and admiration for mo, and fighters like him.
maybe i have more insight into some of these things than you do as a fan boy watching ufc on pay per view, thinking that guys like tank were 'amazing' fighters, someone to admire
you obviously look up to somebody who is a crude angry brute struggling to keep up with a world thats moving around him too fast for him to keep up.. but alas, birds of a feather
i feel sorry for tank. I hope he gets his shit together and finds some peace in his life.
