TRT just brings your hormone levels up to normal. You can do any cardio that someone with normal hormones can do. Pick anything that you enjoy and fits with your fitness goals.

Right now my only cardio is intercourse...but I'm not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I'm on cycle :D

I lift weights really fast.

I read somewhere that too much cardio makes your dick fall off.

Seriously though, I ride my mountain bike 3-5 times a week, on trail when possible on pavement when necessary. Probably adds up to 3-5 hours weekly. Trying to gain LBM so I'm not going to go ballistic on the cardio.

I'm doing the elliptical at level 21, I adjusted to it the point as if your power walking. My HR is usually on ave 118. For 30 mins of it I cause close to a 1400 cal deflect.

Circuit training with kettle bells etc. 2 to 3 times per week. Lifting 2 to 3 times per week. Metabolism is through the roof.

I do 20 minutes on a non-impact elliptical Cybex 610A Arc Trainer 3 times per week with a target heart rate of 130-140 bpm only for cardiovascular health.

Don't try to use cardio to burn fat. Adjust your diet accordingly to do that - it is far easier and better time management.

I am a marathon runner and have run 25-30 miles per week for the last 3 years. I always wondered if this could have triggered my low T. I also wonder if the high mileage might sabotage my TRT.

Anyone have knowlege about this?

This study is interesting. Not sure how valid.

Testosterone and Reproductive Dysfunction Men

For those with ADD, here's the conclusion of the study.

Conclusions

Endurance exercise training would seem to have significant effects upon the major male reproductive hormone, testosterone. A growing body of evidence suggests at rest testosterone is lowered in the endurance-trained male. The mechanism of this lowering is currently unclear, but may be related to dysfunction within the HPT regulatory axis brought about by months or years of endurance training. Currently, the time course of the changes in the reproductive endocrine system are unresolved. There are only limited findings to indicate that endurance training disrupts testosterone-dependent anabolic or androgenic processes in the male. The alterations in testosterone levels brought by endurance exercise training could even have cardiovascular protective effects.

I like cutting the time between sets, and super setting a lot of stuff, i wear a monitor for my heart so i can tell my HR is just as good if not in a better spot than doing cardio, and its not as boring

for heart health though, that won't work, but it sure helps drop the FAT

different things for different people. interval cardio training has always worked for me, specifically running 30 min intervals mixed with light jogging/sprints/ harder jogging.

sprint intervals on the treadmill have always been key for me. work your way into it.

Mike-
Now you'll need a bluetooth headset so you can take care of clients while you are running :spin:

I love my elliptical machine for my cardio.....but I hate cardio!
