Can you elaborate on what you mean by running a short bulk in the two week off period?

like while im on clen, I would be using it too lose fat.

so like my calories would be in a caloric deficit, I would be doing heavy cardio everyday, and I would be doing strength training to maintain muscle mass. so the goal would be losing body fat.



on the 2 weeks off, I would like to put on muscle mass. so my calories would be in a carolic surplus, light cardio, and I would be doing heavy strength training to increase muscle mass. so goal would be gaining weight/muscle.


is it okay to do things like this?
 
because I want to feel like im making progress in both directions.

IMO, two weeks is nowhere near enough time to make any noteworthy progress in any direction (bulking or cutting). I'm fairly lean, and when I cut (reduce bf), i do it over 8-12 weeks, slowly, to minimize the amount of muscle lost. My body starts reacting/changing (noticeably) after about 5 weeks. Sure, I notice differences earlier than that, but the real results start to become evident after 6 weeks.

If you're trying to make a little progress in two opposing directions (bulk/cut), you're not really making any progress in any direction at all.

have to disagree with this. your making slow progress toward a body recompisition. the results aren't as quickly noticeable but they are the same results regardless.
