What to do?

I started working out again about 10 months ago, going great getting all my old gains back, etc. A little over a month ago I was doing flat bench pause, and I felt a pain in my right peck and ever since then has not gone away. My question is should I lay off doing chest for awhile intill it heals? Right now I am only doing incline and flies because they do not bother my peck. Any advice would be appreciated.
 
Was there any swelling/bruising/yellowing of the skin over the next few days? I tore my bicep (small tear luckily) swatting my teenager on the ass for mouthing off.

The saying "This is going to hurt me more than you" was never more true!!!

After she went to her room, I ran to the freezer for a bag of frozen peas.... Nothing the Doc could/would do though as it wasn't a large tear.
 
I didn't notice any swelling/bruising...I think after it happen it was a very lite purple. But its weird how it doesn't bother me on incline or flies, only hurts doing flat and decline bench.
