What's so bad about TRT?

I'm still reading up on this so don't flame, educate. I will research all points brought up instead of assuming I'm right like most people would.
I'm just wondering btw, not trying to force myself onto testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) anytime soon.

I understand that you'd be forced to pin all the time for the rest of your life (not sure if this part is true). If it doesn't bother you, then what are the negative aspects of it?

What I've taken in so far is:
On a cycle, you wouldn't need to do a PCT since the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is pretty much auto adjusting test levels for you which in turns saves money. All you'd need is anti-estrogens and AI's.
If your insurance covers your test cost, it'd pretty much be free right?

If I'm wrong correct me. I probably am.

Married to the needle
getting blood work tests
Cost of aas, and ai's, blood tests, etc...
Blood donations
Possible infertility.
Getting an insurance could be a problem.

above. and a few others.

with chronic use of injections, a TON of scar tissue will form over a long period of time. There is this lady that comes into the ER just about every other day for a pain shot, and she has been doing it for like 15 years. I have to use an 18 gauge needle because her muscle is so hard to get into that using anything smaller bends the needle....

more over, the longer you use, the more increased risk of infection comes along (getting lazy with technique etc)

just a couple i could think of. for some people the risk is worth the reward.

If you NEED it, I'm sure it's the greatest thing ever, otherwise . . . you should ask this in the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forum. There's a lot of guys here that are on it, but this isn't the best forum to find them.

That's a tough one to answer in the AAS forum as it does have advantages given the fact we don't need to run a PCT. However as mentioned above, you have to worry about the frequent tests and blood donations/apheresis as you're ALWAYS making additional red blood cells. My insurance doesn't cover my vials or pins, so that cost is totally on me. It's silly that something which helps prevent the need for more expensive meds isn't often recognized by many insurance companies if you ask me - but those bastards know we'll gladly pay whatever we have to (it's more expensive than UGL test btw) as living with low-T just isn't an option.

If it's medically needed, it's a godsend. Otherwise, I'd gladly trade my script for testosterone for a set of working nuts and cycle like the rest of you. ;)

I figure it's just easier to ask you atm instead of using Google given that all posts I've seen from you are pretty knowledgeable. Isn't it better to have more RBCs? I've read about people blood doping for increased performance. I know you could get heart attacks from it but isn't the risk greatly limited if you are healthy with a strong heart?

Increased RBC CAN be beneficial up to a certain point. I believe it can help with endurance and prolong the onset of fatigue but not quite sure. Once you pass this point though you get diminishing returns and serious side effects. Very high rbc count can lead to clogged arteries and veins/blood clots, enlarged spleen, headaches, dizziness, blurred vision to name a few

Good thing the wife popped out a few offsprings ahead of time!

aside from what others said, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is depressing, bitches be complaining how you keep poking yourself with needles, your hard work is discredited with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by uneducated people.... also if the world ever comes to an end.... the ones on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will die out very quickly :'(

He can use gels for god`s sake.

There`s also Nebido(shot once 2,3 months),and in Europe,Andriol pills.

I know twice weekly injections are the most powerful and best choice but not the only choice -just sayin.

In my experience, i dont think gels work that well. Hence the reason androgel recently increased the potency. Ive never heard of Nebido, ill have to read up on that.

Is it discredit when im 34, my test levels are at 450, and I feel great vs my 57 yr old workout partner who's 57, test levels at 1250, and is on trt?
Almost 3 times the levels

I care what you think German. Your posts are good :) not that i think youre a bitch or anything.

aha

well to be fair, test can only get you so far, hes got 10+ years on you, plus when i was at 150ng/dl i felt just as good as if i was on 1200, but once i hit 4k+ i felt great

Slightly elevated RBC's for a short period of time is great. Having 560,000/L of them ALL the time is not. As mentioned with the following:

^This. On the bright side, the Red Cross loves me and has a gift card plan for those that have crazy RBC counts. $75 for 15 donations sounds pretty damn win/win to me as they're doing me a favor. :D

One. Just one thankyouverymuch! I can't imagine having more than one little hellion running around! I love my little princess, but I know I'm in for a hell of a time in 10 short years to come. :crying:

Gels are honestly crap and I wouldn't recommend those long experimental esters to anyone. There's a reason why the medical community is trying to push these new items on us - you can't patent bioidentical testosterone as it currently stands. No patent = no profit for big pharma which in turn means less drug reps paying off our docs. It should be criminal seeing how our health is secondary to the almighty dollar!

Exactly. Then again, you marry the ones that like it when you pin because they know you're going to be able to keep on plugging away at the holy of holies like a goddamn Captain of the football team. ;)

ahahaha... my posts are just to ball bust for my own enjoyment ;)

I am a bitch though... sometimes ;)

All I was implying was, you shouldn't care what others think. If someone is going to judge you then, they shouldn't be part of your life.
