wuts up bros, was just reading some of the threads and was curious whats the difference between malto and dex.
 
you could probably find out from google in about 4 seconds, but basically dex is just higher Gi, malto is lower, but i dont know how much lower.

so dex is a fast digesting carb and mato is more like a medium digesting carb
 
You have to be joking - do you guys just guess with the info you give out???

1.) Maltodextrin has a higher glycemic index then Dextrose
2.) Maltodextrin is considered a complex carbohydrate where dextrose is considered simple, however maltodextrins bonds are very weak thus break apart easily in the stomach.

the only time you sould be using either of these is strictly Postworkout

so basically just use malto and dex for pwo and not pre wo as long as i eat slow digesting carbs like oatmeal. btw how much of dex and malto should i take for pwo when i am using creatine.
