What's the $ limit you can send to China w/o using ID via WU?

I was told by the Western Union here that an ID is required for anything over $1000. As far as China goes, you can't send more than $2000 there. What I did was just send 2 separate wires.

I sent 550 a few months ago and no id needed. Use a credit card online (get the disposable kind) and its all good.

with WU every time you use them the amount increases that you are able to send. I am only talking about the online stuff. I started off at 999.99 and now I am up to 2000.00 and I just use two different accounts so my max is 4000.00
