When do you work out and are you a weekend warrior!

You guys know more about health and proper nutrition than those wanna be doctors, and "actor" doctors on Tv who are just saying their lines. and I trust your advice more than I ever will from any office doctor who is just giving out a pill for every pill. These guys are worst that crack dealers, because they smile in your face in their 3 thousand dollar suits, "paid for by the drug manufacturers" and tell you that its all going to be alright as they shove thousands of dollars of pills down your and your children throats to make their commission.

so Schredder do you pretty much train 4 or 5 days on, and the same amount off? was thinking in your situation you must only divide your whole body into three say three parts total, you know like chest shoulders arms......etc??
just curious brother :)

So this is what I do brother

Chest/Tris w/ some shoulders
Back/Bis w/ some shoulders
Legs

Every couple or few weeks I have a day dedicated for shoulders and ill throw Tris into that workout

And on the day i train chest/tris ill throw in 3 sets or usually 25 reps for Bis

And the same thing on back/bis day ill do the same for tris

Sometimes on leg day ill throw in a couple sets for arms

And i try to train calves EOD

So that is the order i train on days off, ill train 3 days take a day iff then train three more then prolly take 2-3 days off the whatever Im due for next i hit I never switch the order in which i do things, the only thing i switch is the amount of days if i have in between sessions.

Its not ideal, but it works. And like I said I work 12 hr shifts, out of the house for 16hrs and I work night shift too so if Im too tired to train which I am a lot of the time I rest. Usually i haven't slept enough anyways or the food intake might have dropped so I dont see a point in training in those days anyways.

I used to try anything to get that tuna into me lol

I remember once throwing it in a blender with flat diet coke and chugging it - cos someone said it worked for them...

My arse was playing some mighty fine tunes that day I can tell ya! :ugh:

Try the following :
2 tuna cans in a blender..
Salt
Black pepper
Add 1 spoon tahini

Start mixing , add slowly lemon juice till the blender mix it all well.

Final result: something looks like 95% of subway tuna sandwich .. Doesn't smell or taste like the tuna u know.

And it's great even without bread.

interesting.our workouts are similar. basically what they call a push/pull routine. I'm sure you know the term. I am off work long term with a concussion but still train hard. normally I work two 12 hour days, then 2 nights, off four. we work an extra 8 hours so instead of ot we can take the extra 8 in pay or time off. not a bad deal.

I do find workouts during the work week are pretty shitty, but necessary I guess. as a Highland games athlete I have to maintain my body weight as like any heavy athletics all weight is important. so eating can be a challenge as well. thank god for ephedrine and caffeine during work week training.lol

that's a nice split you have for your routine. I like it as well. tried back with legs for awhile but I knew it wasn't gonna happen before I even tried it. not enough gas in the tank for that.

Ya Ive tried many different things bro, and this seem to work the best for me without a doubt, i will keep at this until it stops working. Its beneficial too because you can hit every bodypart twice a week. Once a week is not enough and I find if its only ine muscle group per day I tend to go overboard amd wind up doing too much damage ya know.

Schredder that gives me inspiration to change up my routine and give something like that a shot... 3 days on and 1 day off

Chest/Tris/Front Delts
Back/Bis/Side & Rear Delts
Legs/Calves/Abs
Day off and repeat.

I've been meaning to change my routine up but not sure what to do, but I think this is a good place to start.

I think you like that Staunched, you get that stimulation twice a week. And if you havent done that routine before or ever itll give you some good results!

Yeah I'm quite keen to start it, nice change. I know a few people who have had success with a similar routine. Sure rest is very important, but I feel that two days in a row off every week just does my head in lol and would rather a less rest, but more frequent so this suits it perfect. After all, if it doesn't suit your needs give it the boot.
