Yes it is, but 1500mcg is a common dose for biotin. Taken with rALA it helps increase insulin sensitivity. It is a B vitamin coenzyme necessary for metabolism that is usually supplied by bacteria in the gut.
I was told to take:
For every 100mg of rALA take 500mcg of biotin by Clarityandfocus.
