wrong needle size...

i have a quick question...What happens if you use one needle size for all different site injections...glute, quad, delt...does it matter and can you damage a muscle if the wrong gauge is used. I think gauge is the wrong term, what i mean is if the needles goes to deep...like if the needle is 1.5 inches and you were suppose to use 1 inch? Anyone who can answer this would be helpful.

ive always used 1.5 inch pins.
i think creating scar tissue more depends on the gauge (diameter of the needle) not the length.

the deeper into the muscle the better imo.
for traps, chest, bi's ect most can get away with 1 inch pins.

I use 1.5 for all glute shots as you have alot of fat in that area. For shoulder shots and quad shots 1 inch is fine. As far as gauge I use a 20gauge to draw my gear and 22 for injection. I used to use a 25gauge but it took too long for me to inject all 3cc to the point in which I was getting crapms in my hand. If you have no such problems 25gauge will minimize the scar tissue build up especially if you are using fast acting gear requiring 3-4 shots per week.

thanks everyone for the responses...i asked this question because I do not want to try and rotate sites and end up damaging muscle...i was wondering if there is a way damage can be done from the gauge or needle lentgh on smaller muscle groups such as the shoulder

If it doesnt go deep enough to get in the muscle and ends up in the fat it just takes longer to be metabolized.

I use a 23 gauge 1.5 in needle for everything. I mostly inject my shoulders. I've done my glutes and tris before, and I will be trying my quads out pretty soon. Obviously though, when I inject smaller muscles I don't put the needle in as far as I would for a large muscle like my glutes.

Earlier today I injected sustan and EQ into my shoulder. It was almost 2.5 ccs and it was no problem...I love my delts.

I always use the same as most 23gauge 1 1/2 " needle but i agree with an above post! 1" is usually long enough for any injesction site in the body. (unless your a huge lard bucket the 1 1/2" maybe too small LOL)

unless you have a huge fat ass i think 1" is good enough as well. ive always used 1" for every site, just because i mass purchased a huge amount of 1" pins. especially if you are skinny or ripped, doubt you'll need more than an inch to penetrate your glute fat.
