ok , i guess you all have seen me on here about my thyroid problems and well , i have to say that i have been doin this atkins thing for a cpl weeks and wow i have ate so much chicken that i am turning into a chicken..lol but wow .... i have gotten so much stronger in the gym and my body is changing fast ... to think all alone i was eating to many carbs...... duh , im not at the weight on the scale that i would love to be but i am changing so much i had to share incase anyone is frustrated with there weight... so happy now that things are finally going well for me at least i am changin for the better without any drugs , my body seems to grow anyways just looking at weights i have always been like that though i have to be carefull not to eat alot on a cycle cause i will grow i think like a man......lol but anyways wanted to share... there is a site that i am checking into for others that follow some on the atkins.... lowcarbeating.com its great just to hear others loseing weight if anything else for inspiration.......oh i have to throw in there that i push myself hard also in my workouts and aerobics and this goes hand in hand i think with my dieting.... thankxx.
 
Glad to see you are finally seeing changes!! Just keep in mind that when you eliminate your carbs you can and will rebound when you re-introduce them into your diet! So be careful...
Best bet is to go low carb or to cycle your carbs... Lyle McDonald has some great info on cycling carbs.. ya just need to tweek ratios etc..

If I might offer one piece of advice.....throw out the scale!!!! It'll mess with your head. Go by feel and I'm glad to hear you're feeling well. :)
 
thanxx , i think i have to come to grips with my weight i always go from 150 to 160 depending on the food exercise etc... i think i am trying always to get down to that before i was pregnant weight and well i would be a rack of bones lol if i were there now..lol , but i know what you mean about cycle, it drives me mad not to have some carbs so a cpl days out of the week i do eat norm that would be cheating for me i guess , but i could see what you mean about watching eatin again and gaining back, wouldnt want that to happen.....
