I lift 100% raw. The grip is part of the lift always has and always will be. It sounds so much better to tell someone I bench 600 instead of 450 or deadlift 700 instead of 595 but I know all of you out there know in your hearts how strong you really are without suits, shirts, or silly straps. Straps are only cheating yourself. We don't lift because its easy. Like I said if you cant lift it, train for it.
